We carried out group and individual psychological work. The main aim was counteracting reactions and emotional stabilization of the psychological and emotional conditions of the participants. Working in group meetings often has a therapeutic effect on some participants. It was also aimed to create an adaptive environment for demobilized, wounded soldiers.
The participants of these meetings were: veterans, members of their families, relatives of dead soldiers and residents of this settlement.
Also we visited 3 families of dead soldiers.
During the meetings, the following issues were highlighted, discussed and analyzed:
- How to cope with constant stressful situations;
- How to create an adaptive environment;
- How to help a relative who is grief-stricken;
- How to help cope with negative emotions and PTSD.
Also, all participants of group meetings spoke and shared their emotions issues.
