We carried out group and individual psychological work. The main aim was counteracting reactions and emotional stabilization of the psychological and emotional conditions of the participants. Working in group meetings often has a therapeutic effect on some participants.
The participants of these meetings were: veterans, members of their families, relatives of dead soldiers and residents of this settlement.
During the meetings, the following issues were highlighted, discussed and analyzed:
- how to cope with constant stressful situations;
- how not to break the spirit of patriotism in a child;
- how to help a relative who is grief-stricken;
- how to help cope with negative emotions and PTSD;
- how to deal with new and recurring post-traumatic stress disorder, etc;
Also, all participants of group meetings spoke and shared their emotions issues.
After the latest military aggression of Azerbaijan against Armenia, our specialists focused their efforts on providing first psychological aid to the victims. As a result, remote assistance was provided to 26 families evacuated from the Akhpradzor war zone. Group meetings were held in Martuni , the number of participants is 43 people.
