Report on the work of the Foundation (August)
Number of individual consultations: 4
This month, we focused on two main areas: therapeutic gardening and collaboration with MEM (Children of the Regions in the Regions).
As part of the therapeutic gardening program, our psychologists Meline Sahakyan, Suzanna Gdoyan, and Margo Sargsyan will have the opportunity to participate in the Therapeutic Gardening program organized by Roots in Nature.
Our specialists presented their plans and projects for introducing therapeutic gardening in Armenia. As a result, members of our partner organization, Partnerships for Nature, supported them in receiving a scholarship. The courses will begin in mid-September, include basic and intermediate levels, and conclude in January 2026.
As part of the MEM camp, our psychologist Meline Sahakyan conducted four visits. During three of her visits, she implemented mindfulness practices with teenagers, teaching them how to start their day with self-regulation techniques and visualizations. During the fourth visit, she introduced psychological methods for developing communication skills, teaching teenagers to better understand themselves and their interlocutors through speech, as well as to build rapport.
